Blood Brothers: Sympathy Speech
A task that combines literature & language. Pupils must annotate a model, plan and then write a speech in which they defend a character from the play they believe deserves the sympathy of the audience. Can be used for a class debate or Spoken Language task, as well as a writing activity.
